I have been a technology analyst for most of my adult life. With a career spanning two decades, three companies and two continents, I have helped top hardware and services vendors with their product planning, go to market and messaging.
I spent 14 years at Gartner, most recently as their Consumer Devices Research VP. In this role, I spent most of my time advising clients from invest firms, to technology providers, to traditional enterprise clients. In 2011 I was recognized with the Gartner Annual Global Award, which is given to the individual who has contributed to research in the most extraordinary way.
In 2013, I became Chief of Research at Kantar Worldpanel ComTech where I drove thought leadership research by marrying my deep understanding of global market dynamics with the wealth of data coming from ComTech’s longitudinal studies on smartphones and tablets.
In 2016, I joined Creative Strategies as a Principal Analyst where I focus on consumer tech across the board. From hardware to services, I analyze today to help predict and shape tomorrow, knowing that asking consumers about the future sometimes fails, but capturing consumers’ behavior and sentiment never does!
I am a regular contributor to Tech.pinions and the Italian's Daily La Stampa. I am often quoted as an industry expert and commentator in publications such as The Financial Times, Bloomberg, The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. I regularly appear on BBC, Bloomberg TV, NBC News, and others. My twitter account was recently listed in the “101 accounts to follow to make Twitter more interesting” by Wired Italy.
